Courtney Cole recently sat with Mike Patterson of the Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resources Center (MATRC). Courtney discussed the use of AI powered solutions to address gaps in care for Musculoskeletal, Neurological, Cognitive and Cardiology patients.
The discussion revolved around the ForaHealthyMe all-in-one telehealth & tele-rehab practice management solution.
Current treatment models result in patients having to visit multiple treatment centers or conduct aspects of their care via video. This is inefficient, ineffective, and costly.
The ForaHealthyMe all-in-one solution supports care delivery from the moment the patient is diagnosed, all the way through to surgery. Integrated tele-rehab solutions enable discharge and remote rehab. Patients can be transferred and managed by different care teams based on the patient's status on the same platform.
The Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resources Center is one of the 12 regional centers affiliated with the Telehealth Resource Centers (TRCs). TRCs are funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service's Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Office for the Advancement of Telehealth, which is part of the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy. Nationally, there are 14 TRCs that are collectively known as the National Consortium of Telehealth Resource Centers. This includes 12 Regional Centers, all with different strengths and regional expertise, and two National Centers, one focusing on technology assessment and one on telehealth policy.
